Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sandra
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to not quitting because in the end I know I'm gonna win. The Bible says seek ye first the kingdom of heaven and all these things will be added unto you. I concentrate on seeking, which is a deep dive, not just looking around.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice is to be true to thy own self, know who you are and how to express who you are. Also learn how to listen and not just hear. The Lord told me to shut the hell up and be quiet when going through issues at work, and He said He got this.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You have to be patient and meet women where they are. It's not about what I want, it's about what they need. Know your niche and your avatar. AI won't take your job because people need the process and accountability, not just steps from Google.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The challenge is that people don't like to pay for resources they need, even though they pay for what they want like Starbucks or red bottom shoes. But if you love yourself more than things, you realize you are more important.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty even when it hurts, and trust. I taught my students to be honest with me, if you lie I have an issue, but if you tell the truth we can work through it.
