About Sandra
Sandra Kahnplay is an influencer marketing professional with a background in PR. She has approximately three years of experience since graduating in 2023. Her career includes an internship at Tarte Cosmetics, work at a PR agency supporting tourism and hospitality clients such as Cheesecake Factory, Lobos Tequila, Grand Coramino, and Caesars Entertainment, and roles at Marina Maher Communications managing beauty campaigns for Coty brands including CoverGirl and Rimmel. She also worked at L'Oreal before taking on contract work and her current position at Fohr, where she handles campaigns for clients including Toms of Maine, K18 IO Beauty, and Colgate brands. Beauty remains her main passion, and she holds a degree with majors in political science and marketing. She is responsible for executing campaigns, streamlining processes, communicating with agents and influencers, and ensuring deadlines and goals are met. She has worked across food, tourism, hospitality, retail, and beauty sectors.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Advocate for yourself and don't be afraid to over-communicate because people can't read your mind. Show how you can be an asset to the team and utilize your strengths like being chronically online and in tune with culture. For the beauty industry specifically, don't go in if you're not passionate because people can see your passion or lack thereof.
