Her Story
About Sandra
I have worked in healthcare for 22 years as a registered nurse specializing in radiation oncology. After my factory closed, the state offered to help pay for college and I chose nursing to fulfill my desire to care for others. A friend's cancer journey inspired me to enter oncology in 2014. Being diagnosed with cancer myself in 2022 gave me perspective from both sides of care and I find great joy in watching patients ring the bell after finishing treatment.
