About Sandra
Sandra Vigliotti is a seasoned beauty and wellness professional with more than 40 years of experience in the salon industry. Based in Syracuse, New York, she currently serves as an Account Executive and Salon Business Consultant at CosmoProf Beauty, where she partners with salon owners and beauty professionals to strengthen their businesses through sales, marketing, education, and strategic guidance. Sandra began her career as a hairstylist and makeup artist before transitioning into professional education in 1987. In 1990, she moved into salon consulting, supporting more than 120 salons and helping stylists develop their skills, expand their clientele, and achieve sustainable business growth. Throughout her career, she has also worked with Goldwell New York, earning recognition as Account Executive of the Year in 2000, 2015, 2018, and 2020, as well as Consultant of the Year in 2018.
Beyond her work in the beauty industry, Sandra is passionate about holistic wellness and women's health. As an independent fitness coach, she helps individuals make healthier lifestyle choices through nutrition, exercise, and appropriate supplementation. Drawing from her own experiences and extensive personal study of hormone health, nutrition, and lifestyle changes, she has expanded her work to support women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause. After completing specialized training as a menopause doula, she became dedicated to helping women better understand this stage of life and approach it with greater confidence and knowledge. Her entrepreneurial interests also include internet marketing and helping businesses strengthen their digital presence.
Sandra attributes her professional success to honesty, building trust, and developing meaningful relationships within her community. She believes that supporting the growth of others ultimately contributes to everyone's success and credits her husband's unwavering encouragement as an important part of her journey. She encourages young women to slow down, appreciate their accomplishments, and make time for the experiences that matter rather than becoming consumed by constant growth. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Sandra is committed to community service, volunteering with The Salvation Army, organizing Thanksgiving dinners for families in need, and supporting veterans' organizations. Through her work and volunteer efforts, she continues to educate, empower, and make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Ten minutes with Sandra
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to honesty, building trust within my community, and genuinely supporting the growth of other businesses. I believe that when the businesses around me succeed, my business succeeds as well. I am also grateful for my husband's unwavering support and encouragement in everything I pursue.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to slow down and enjoy the journey. It is easy to become so focused on building, growing, and achieving goals that you miss meaningful moments along the way. Take time to appreciate your accomplishments, embrace the experiences, and remember what truly matters.
