Her Story
About Sandra
Sandra has been in the recruitment industry for the past four years, and recently joined Savvy Wealth on their Growth team. In this role, she partners with Wealth Management Advisors to help them save time by reducing the operational burden of running a practice. Whether it’s streamlining operations, enhancing marketing efforts, or leveraging better technology, her goal is to help advisors spend less time on back office work and more time doing what they do best—serving their clients.
Prior to this, she recruited financial advisors from the ground up, so she understands the challenges they face every day. She has seen firsthand how demanding it is to balance client relationships while also managing the business side of a practice. This role allows her to give back by helping advisors build more efficient, scalable businesses so they can focus on what matters most.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sandra
01What do you attribute your success to?
My willingness to learn. Every role I've had, I've always wanted to understand the 'why' and improve my skills and grow. Even now, I'm consistently asking how can I learn from the feedback I receive. Also, showing up consistently. I think that success comes from consistency, more than luck.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Follow the message not the man… meaning learn what you can from the people around you but don’t try to simply mimic them or be them. Be you and be the best version of yourself.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Don’t wait until you feel completely ready. Believe in yourself, speak up and ask questions.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
I think one of the biggest challenges is balancing technology with human connection. With so much outreach happening digitally it's easy for people to feel like they are just another name or list or that there is a sales pitch behind the message. At the end of the day it's about creating genuine connections, having meaningful conversations and understanding whether there's a mutual fit.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The things I value most in my work and personal life are relationships, growth, and making an impact. I’ve always believed that people are at the center of everything we do, whether that’s helping someone find the right opportunity, partnering with advisors to grow their business, or being present for my family.
I value continuous learning and pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. Every challenge I’ve faced has helped me grow into a stronger professional, leader, and person. I also value authenticity, showing up as myself, building genuine connections, and creating trust with the people around me.
Most importantly, I value purpose. I want the work I do to matter, whether that’s helping someone reach their goals professionally or creating a better future for my family.
