Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to resilience and purpose. Life challenged me early, and instead of letting it define me, I allowed it to shape me. Every obstacle became a lesson, and every setback strengthened my determination to keep moving forward.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is: “Focus on becoming valuable, not just successful.”

That mindset shifted how I approached my work. Instead of chasing titles, I focused on building skills, strengthening systems, and supporting the people around me. When you consistently bring value, growth and opportunities naturally follow.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Know your worth, stay consistent, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Growth doesn’t happen when things feel easy—it happens when you challenge yourself to become more.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the most significant challenges in healthcare today is navigating rapid growth and increasing demand while maintaining a high standard of care. In behavioral health especially, we are seeing more individuals seeking support than ever before, which places pressure on staffing, workflows, and overall capacity. Without strong structure and leadership, it becomes difficult to sustain both efficiency and quality.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, accountability and growth. Integrity is the foundation of everything I do. I believe in doing the right thing—even when it’s not the easiest path—because trust is built through consistency and honesty. In healthcare especially, that trust is essential. Accountability is what turns intentions into results. I hold myself to high standards and believe in taking ownership—not only of successes, but also of challenges. That mindset has allowed me to grow as both a leader and an individual.

Finally, I value continuous growth. I believe there is always more to learn, more ways to improve, and more opportunities to evolve. Growth, to me, is not optional—it’s a responsibility.
