Santana Hill

Public service and legal professional with experience supporting government leadership, court operations, and campaign administration. Currently Chief of Staff to Detroit City Council Member At-Large Mary Waters, providing executive support, managing an 11-person team, overseeing calendars and office operations, and tracking projects to keep priorities moving. Previously managed the case evaluation docket for the 16th Judicial Circuit Court, improved departmental efficiency by developing a Standard Operating Procedure manual, and served as a judicial law clerk supporting criminal and civil dockets, motion practice, and jury trial preparation. Background also includes campaign support and K–12 substitute teaching across Southeast Michigan. Holds a J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Wayne State University.
