About Sapphire

Sapphire Grandmont serves as the Lead Event Coordinator at Main Event. She has over 10 years of experience in the events field, having organized everything from small graduation parties and birthdays to large corporate buyouts and weddings. Prior to her current role, she worked at Eastern Michigan University, where she received the Employee of the Quarter award, and at Rider Logistics, where she earned the EverBetter Award. A Rotarian for the City of Taylor, Michigan, Sapphire is deeply involved in community service, participating in events such as the annual Harley-Davidson fundraiser for veterans, police department fundraisers, and the National Day of Prayer. She emphasizes integrity, relationship-building, and delivering on promises in both her professional and personal life. Her career began as a people greeter, where she discovered her talent for sales, leading her to her current position focused on client relations, event planning, and community outreach.

Don't take no as an answer. Don't ask for permission, ask for forgiveness. Pair no with a yes to make it sting less.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

It's gonna be hard, but you can do it. Don't take no. Be goal-driven. Adapt and keep your goals even when the world is not kind.

03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity. Be good on your word, follow through, build relationships, and deliver on promises.
