Ten minutes with Sara
01What do you attribute your success to?
I think I have been really lucky to have an amazing support system inside of work and outside work. My team has chosen to work with me at multiple companies which shows inherent trust. I've had a great mentor who is constantly pushing me and challenging me to think about the future.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I'd say don't be afraid to try new things, and always ask for what you want, and don't expect that it will just be given to you.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
AI is such an opportunity to accelerate and do great and amazing things and a tool to just be innovative and move faster. But at the same time it is a challenge to ensure that we're doing that securely and that we're not falling into the trap of putting out essentially slop. There have been these moments of complete transformation with AI and it's exciting to see team members transforming how they think about their work.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
It's really important to be a lifelong learner and being curious because that's how you continue to learn. Another one would be I have a constant drive to raise the bar and it's really important to me that I do that personally and professionally.
