About Sara

Sara Ballinger is a professional with more than 20 years of experience in recruitment, business development, and human resources focused on government projects. She started her career immediately after high school in an office setting doing recruitment for small government contracts, which grew to include work with Northrop Grumman and the Department of Homeland Security. Over the years she has handled business development with embassies and army bases, supported human resources functions, and assisted with government clearances, including helping reinstate clearances for individuals at those agencies. She has taken occasional breaks to care for her daughter but has consistently returned to the field. Sara also pursued some college credits through NOVA and was accepted to George Mason University though she did not complete a degree. Beyond her core work, she has been active in community service, organizing anti-domestic violence events at Columbia College that involved DC 101 radio promotions, Job Corps, and support for survivors and the homeless community. Currently she is seeking a new position following the end of a recent contract and aspires to start her own business in the future once her daughter completes college.
