Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute much of my success to the mentors and leaders who have believed in me and helped build my confidence throughout my career. My previous people leader, Whitney, made a significant impact on me through her consistent support, encouragement, and belief in my potential.

I also look up to my parents and my children, who continue to motivate me every day. As a single mom balancing a demanding travel schedule and high-pressure work environment, my kids are a constant reminder of why I continue pushing myself to grow both personally and professionally.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would say you can lead, and resilience is incredibly important. You are capable of adapting to challenges when you remain collaborative, open-minded, and willing to grow. Most importantly, never underestimate yourself.

Growth does not always come from one major moment — sometimes it comes from continuing to show up day after day, even when things feel uncomfortable. Confidence takes time to build, and for me, that has been an ongoing journey both personally and professionally.

Be open to opportunities and challenges when they come your way. Step outside of your comfort zone, trust your ability to grow, and do not be afraid to push yourself further than you think you can go. That mindset has made a significant difference in my own career and leadership journey.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Family time is absolutely the most important value to me. When I'm home, my focus is on my three daughters - whether that's taking Mila somewhere, picking up my daughter from college, or spending quality time with my younger one at home. I love exploring what's going on in our local area, supporting small businesses, going to festivals and concerts, and thrift shopping with my daughters at vintage shops. We try to find little local places on the weekends and connect that way. Mental health is also very important to me and my family, as is Alzheimer's awareness. At work, I'm very focused on making things easier through standard work and forward-looking planning. Even in my part-time role at Dick's, I can't just sit back and watch - I'm very big on participation, working alongside my leaders, and giving honest feedback about improvements. Through my involvement with Amazon's affinity groups, especially Women at Last Mile Field Support where I serve on the board, I try to support causes that matter and participate in volunteering as much as we can.
