Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sara
01What do you attribute your success to?
I went to a liberal arts school in New Jersey that no one's ever heard of. It creates a chip on your shoulder where you have to rely on building authentic relationships and getting out there. I've literally approached people in coffee shops and at games, approached reporters and said this is my story. Being scrappy with no guide book but putting in the work.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
A lot of people love sports and the communal aspect, but what is something distinguished about you about storytelling that you can bring. Find ways to storytell for your specific brand, find a different lens, what is missing, lend your voice to storytelling. That's why I have my podcast to highlight the next generation of women.
