Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sara
01What do you attribute your success to?
I definitely learned to take the opportunities that are given, and be intentional about asking questions. I think that it's important to learn more about yourself and your career as you grow in it, and yeah, I think that's something that's taken me very far.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say to trust your judgment. And it's okay to get multiple opinions or to ask people for help. Like I said, asking questions is extremely important. But don't underestimate yourself or your own talent.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Opportunities - definitely there's always room to grow, and there's always different people who we could be reaching out to. One of the things is we want to empower our people who are across the world to take initiative or take opportunities for themselves. The biggest opportunity is just empowering people who are in India, or in Kenya, or wherever they're at, our teams over there to do things for their community.
