Her progression is widely recognized as a result of her strong analytical skills, work ethic, and ability to lead with clarity and confidence in a traditionally male-dominated industry.

Beyond her role at AEP, she volunteers through United Way initiatives and is an active participant in the company’s WOW (Women at Work) employee resource group. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to perseverance, hard work, and the strong values my parents instilled in me, along with their constant encouragement—especially as the first person on my father’s side of the family to graduate college. I am deeply committed to continuous learning, giving 100% in every role, and creating strong processes, all of which have shaped my growth as a leader.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received is that I don’t have to do everything alone having the right support system makes all the difference. My husband, Michael, has shown me that believing in someone, encouraging their growth, and sharing responsibilities at home can make even the biggest goals achievable.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never stop learning, never stop growing, and always advocate for yourself—believe in your abilities and keep pushing forward, even when it feels uncomfortable. Trust your vision, stay confident in your voice, and never stop dreaming about the career you want to build.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, continuous learning, and balance are the values that guide me most in both my work and personal life. I believe in showing up fully for my family, giving back to my community, and continually growing—while leading with authenticity, advocacy, and purpose in everything I do.
