She brings ten years of marketing experience, including nearly seven years at PwC, where she held progressive marketing leadership roles supporting strategic initiatives, digital campaigns, analytics, and thought leadership programs. This experience strengthened her confidence, adaptability, and ability to create value in changing business environments.
Sara attributes her success to resilience, the power of relationships, and confidence in her skills and expertise. She believes that strong professional connections are essential to collaboration, innovation, and demonstrating the measurable impact of marketing, particularly in B2B environments where relationship-building plays a critical role in driving business growth. Beyond her professional work, Sara is passionate about giving back and has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters while becoming involved with Ableus (ABLIS), a nonprofit organization supporting individuals with disabilities. She also enjoys staying active as a certified personal trainer, reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her two rescue dogs.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Sara
01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, perseverance, and the strength of the professional relationships I have built throughout my career. Experiencing a layoff from PwC in fall 2024 challenged me to adapt, grow, and recognize the value of networking and maintaining meaningful connections. In 2025, I leveraged my skills and experience as a freelance marketing consultant for three companies, an opportunity that ultimately led to my full-time role at Magnitude. My journey has reinforced the importance of hard work, confidence in my abilities, and the ability to embrace change while continuing to pursue new opportunities.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have received is to learn from those who have achieved success by observing how they approach challenges, build relationships, and create opportunities. My experience with an unexpected layoff from PwC reinforced the importance of resilience, self-advocacy, and recognizing the value I bring to my work. That experience encouraged me to confidently showcase my skills through consulting opportunities, ultimately helping me grow professionally and continue advancing my career.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to actively seek out and lean into the guidance of mentors. Building relationships with experienced professionals can provide valuable insight, encouragement, and support throughout your career journey. Be open to learning from others, ask questions, embrace new opportunities, and use mentorship as a powerful tool to grow both personally and professionally.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in B2B marketing today is demonstrating clear return on investment, as much of the value created through marketing comes from relationship-building, brand awareness, and long-term engagement rather than immediate sales results. At the same time, this presents an opportunity for marketers to strengthen collaboration with sales teams and build closer relationships with revenue-generating partners. By aligning marketing efforts with business goals and creating stronger attribution strategies, we can better showcase the impact marketing has on driving growth and supporting overall success.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are meaningful relationships, continuous growth, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. I believe strong professional and personal connections are the foundation for collaboration, support, and success. Outside of work, I prioritize staying active through 15 years of commitment to OrangeTheory Fitness and my role as a certified personal trainer. I also enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, and spending time caring for my two rescue dogs, which bring joy and balance to my life.
