Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sara

01What do you attribute your success to?

What makes me successful is the fact that I am genuine in everything that I do. I don't feel the need to sugarcoat. Clear communication, acting with integrity and speaking with purpose all make that easier for me as well.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Always like what you do, and treat every job and position that you have as if it's your own small business, and take pride in it.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Be strong, be yourself, and speak up when it's appropriate, and do what you feel is appropriate at all times.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

It can be hard coming into a new situation when people are not used to structure, but structure can make people comfortable and provide clarity. It is hard to find that good culture fit that has the experience you're looking for, because culture is extremely important.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity is number one. It's very important to me. Integrity, clear communication. Yeah, I think those two would be the most important for me.
