I attribute my success to maintaining a broad and active set of certifications and licenses, including my current nursing credentials, which have provided me with a strong foundation and a distinct advantage in healthcare sales.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to always help those in need. I genuinely enjoy being that helping hand, and even beyond my immediate role, my active nursing license allows me to step in and support fellow nurses whenever the opportunity arises.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to continuously pursue growth and strive for greater opportunities. It is important to recognize your own value and be confident in your readiness for advancement. Recently, I discussed with my CEO my belief that I am prepared to take on a role that leverages my skills and accomplishments beyond my current position.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is managing situations where my department may not have all the necessary equipment, as well as navigating the complexities of working effectively with people.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The most important values to me in both my work and personal life are compassion and service. I take pride in knowing that every appointment is an opportunity to help someone—whether it’s providing the necessary equipment, guiding them to the right resources, or ensuring they receive the support they need.
