Her Story

About Sarah

Sarah Giblin is a brand marketing leader with nearly a decade of experience translating strategic insight into measurable business growth across the consumer goods industry. Currently serving as Senior Global Marketing Manager for New Products, Communication & Innovation at SharkNinja, she has spent the last several years driving go-to-market strategy for one of the company's largest and most profitable categories, overseeing more than 35 product launches across retail and direct-to-consumer channels. Among her signature achievements is leading the end-to-end launch of a premium upright vacuum, a project that gave her a true sense of ownership over a product from concept through post-launch performance. Prior to SharkNinja, she built a strong foundation in product marketing at companies including Embark Veterinary, IMG Academy, and Aon, gaining experience across brand strategy, growth marketing, and event-based outreach. Giblin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and Finance from the University of Miami and earned her MBA, Summa Cum Laude, from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, completing the degree while working full time to sharpen her competitive edge during a challenging period in the industry. Her academic achievements include membership in the Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies, along with earlier distinctions such as the Dean's and Provost's List recognition at the University of Miami. She has also remained active in leadership roles outside the classroom, including serving as President and Treasurer of her university's Women's Lacrosse program and holding membership in Delta Delta Delta. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Giblin is known for the values she brings to her leadership style, particularly trust and compassion, which she considers foundational to building high-performing, connected teams. She champions patience as a guiding principle in career development, believing that meaningful growth often comes through the challenges of the journey rather than immediate success. A vocal advocate for women in the workplace, she encourages established professionals to actively mentor and support women entering the field. In recognition of her contributions and leadership, Giblin has been selected to be featured by Influential Women for 2026.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sarah

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to persistence and patience, particularly in learning from the challenges I faced early in my career, including navigating the disruption of COVID-19. Investing in the people around me has also been central to how I've grown professionally.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Patience is something I've always had to work at. Looking back, the learning journey has been far more valuable than if everything had simply gone right the first time. My advice is to be patient, put in the time, and invest in people — success doesn't happen immediately, but it does happen when you keep working towards it.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Women need to support other women. Those of us who are established in our careers have a responsibility to show up for the women coming up behind us, especially those just entering the workforce out of school, so they feel supported and set up to succeed.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The world is changing so quickly right now that it's genuinely difficult to stay ahead of it. We're constantly balancing the need to be proactive with the reality of having to be reactive. I feel fortunate to work somewhere that prioritizes innovation, but that comes with its own challenge — we have to keep pushing, keep working, and keep asking ourselves what we can do better.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Trust is everything to me. No team can be truly successful without trust running through the whole organization. Compassion matters just as much — you never know what someone else is dealing with, so if a teammate is having a hard day, I try to give them grace and be the person who steps up to help.
