Sarah Hendrix is an accomplished professional with a strong foundation in athletic training and a dynamic career that has evolved into executive leadership support. Currently serving as Executive Assistant of Sales Operations at Tempur Sealy International, Sarah combines her background in health sciences with organizational excellence and strategic coordination. She plays a vital role in driving operational efficiency, managing key initiatives, and ensuring seamless communication within one of the world’s leading sleep product companies.
Before joining Tempur Sealy, Sarah honed her leadership and communication skills in roles that demanded both precision and empathy. She served as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and Ferrum College, where she supported athletes’ health, recovery, and performance. Her early experience as a Division III NCAA athlete at Ferrum College—where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance—instilled in her a deep appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and resilience. Sarah went on to complete her Master of Science in Athletic Training at Bridgewater College, further enriching her expertise in health and performance management.

The biggest challenges in my field right now are navigating salary benefits and defining the scope of the role, but there are always opportunities to grow, learn, and make meaningful connections.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in my work and personal life are giving back and helping others; I also find joy in spending time with my dog, traveling, enjoying sports, country music, and relaxing at the beach.
