Her Story

About Sarah

Sarah Khan serves as a software engineer and software developer while founding her own startup in the technology sector. With three years of professional experience, she began her career working in coding education for children before advancing through programs such as the Goldman Sachs engineering program and launching MOG. As the main founder of MOG, an AI agent native to iOS, Khan is developing features that simplify group planning for travel, road trips, and meetings, including message summarization, expense splitting, and booking accommodations. She is a student at the University of Texas at Dallas, where she engages with organizations including ERA, which connects interns with startups, and MIST, an international tournament that hosts annual regional competitions for high school students in academics, arts, speaking, and sports. Khan's notable experiences include collaborating with students from universities such as Harvard, Brown, and Cornell during the Goldman Sachs program and presenting findings in Dallas.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't be discouraged by the lack of women in the startup industry. I can name maybe 20 women founders but hundreds of men. The point is to change those numbers and increase them. Don't let the numbers discourage you.
