Her Story
About Sarah
I'm a Johnson & Wales alumni who returned to my alma mater almost 3 years ago with the excitement to help prospective students and guide them through their college journey. For the past two and a half years, I recruited for Westchester and Rockland Counties, New York, being a support system from start to finish, making sure I was there for all students, connecting them with all of the right departments, and ensuring they feel confident in their decision to come to Johnson & Wales. I've been a key player in the office as a whole, willing to step into different roles with our events team and marketing team, really trying to connect all of the pieces. I just switched roles and am now a territory representative for Boston and Northeastern Massachusetts. Every day is different - some days I'm in the office checking emails, being responsive to student questions, and spending time on Zoom or on the phone answering their questions and guiding them through the process, filling in any gaps on the admissions side or financial side. Other days I'm on the road going to different high schools, connecting with the guidance department, conducting info sessions with interested students, or attending college fairs. I love what I do and wouldn't trade it for the world. I'm a big advocate for getting students connected with faculty members when they're on campus so they have that experience, sharing my own experience and what helped me in my decision-making process.
