About Sarah

Sarah Pasley is the Founder and CEO of Safe Haven Recovery Alliance in Waco, Texas. She started the company in January of this year after moving back to the area with her husband. With four years of experience in sober living, Pasley previously worked as a house manager in California at Ananda Treatment, where she facilitated resume building, financial planning, and process groups, and at a stabilization house for individuals coming off the streets. She also served as secretary and treasurer for an Oxford house and as a live-in house manager for Stages of Recovery. Pasley partners with homeowners to convert properties into sober living facilities, handling setup, outreach, operations, and ongoing management under contract. She founded the nonprofit Silver Linings Recovery Alliance to open a non-profit house and offer debt relief funding for those in early recovery. Her path was influenced by her own four years in recovery and prior management roles in fast food and hospitality.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Pray. Make sure that it's what God wants for you, because if you're doing something that's not aligned with God's will for your life, it's not gonna work out in the long run. For those that don't really have a connection with God, I would say, put everything you got into it.
