Her Story

About Sarah

Sarah Repp is the Founder and Owner of Repp To Pourfection, a mobile bartending business, and an accomplished hospitality professional, bar manager, and entrepreneur with extensive experience in beverage operations, mixology, and event bartending. As Bar Manager at The Fold in Little Rock, Arkansas, she leads bar operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences and fostering a culture of outstanding service. Through Repp To Pourfection, she provides customized mobile bartending services for private events throughout Central Arkansas. Her creativity and talent behind the bar were recognized when she earned the People's Choice Award at the 2026 Delta Diamond Cocktail Competition, a testament to her innovation and craftsmanship as a mixologist.

Sarah credits her success to the strong work ethic instilled by her parents and her natural drive to stay engaged and continuously improve. Throughout her career, she has been inspired by experienced bartenders who encouraged her to persevere through challenges while protecting her creativity and individuality. She now shares that same guidance with young women entering the hospitality industry, encouraging them to approach the profession with confidence and to remember that growth comes through experience. While she acknowledges that the Little Rock hospitality community can be competitive and traditionally male-dominated, she views those challenges as opportunities to build meaningful relationships, strengthen resilience, and develop exceptional interpersonal skills.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sarah is passionate about serving her community. She has volunteered with the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas for more than two decades, reflecting her lifelong commitment to animal welfare and community engagement. She values trust, communication, integrity, gratitude, hard work, and adaptability in both her personal and professional life. Sarah is grateful for the unwavering support of her wife, who partners with her during events, as well as the owners of The Fold, whose mentorship and encouragement have played an instrumental role in her continued success and entrepreneurial journey.

Ten minutes with Sarah

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the strong work ethic my parents instilled in me from an early age, along with my natural drive to stay active and continuously engaged. I thrive in fast-paced environments and genuinely enjoy balancing multiple responsibilities, which has been a tremendous asset throughout my career in hospitality. Bartending requires focus, adaptability, and the ability to manage many moving parts at once, and I believe my energetic mindset allows me to excel under pressure while delivering exceptional service. Most importantly, my determination, resilience, and commitment to always giving my best have been the foundation of my personal and professional success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've received came from two exceptional bartenders who have had a lasting influence on both my career and personal growth. They taught me the importance of perseverance recognizing that even when situations are difficult or someone is in the wrong, professionalism means finding a way to work through challenges and make things right. They also encouraged me to protect my creativity and never let others discourage me from trying new ideas. In a creative field like mixology, not every experiment will be successful, but every attempt is an opportunity to learn, improve, and continue growing with confidence.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the hospitality industry is simple: don't be intimidated. Every professional starts somewhere, and no one has all the answers from the beginning we're all learning and growing throughout our careers. Be willing to take the leap, embrace new opportunities, and trust in your ability to adapt and succeed. The industry requires hard work, dedication, and resilience, but it is also incredibly rewarding, creative, and full of opportunities to build meaningful relationships and develop lasting skills.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in the hospitality industry is establishing yourself in a close-knit community and earning recognition, especially as a woman in a traditionally male-dominated field. Those experiences have strengthened my resilience, confidence, and determination. At the same time, this industry provides incredible opportunities to connect with people, build relationships, and develop valuable skills in communication, adaptability, and understanding others. Bartending has taught me the importance of humility, respect, and treating everyone with kindness, as every interaction is an opportunity to learn and grow.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are trust, communication, integrity, gratitude, and a strong work ethic. I believe in building genuine relationships through honesty and respect while staying adaptable and embracing change. Being able to go with the flow, remain positive, and approach challenges with resilience has been essential to my personal growth and professional success.
