Today, Sarah continues to support clients in achieving their homeownership goals while sharing her story as an example of determination and perseverance, inspiring others through her journey of recovery and professional growth. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, faith, perseverance, and mental strength. After surviving both a stroke and a serious car accident, I learned to focus on recovery, gratitude, and forward momentum rather than dwelling on limitations. I believe that maintaining a positive mindset during challenging times has been instrumental in shaping both my personal and professional growth.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I encourage young women entering this industry to never give up, even when life feels overwhelming. I believe that challenges do not define your future and that true strength often reveals itself during the most difficult moments.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
In the mortgage industry, I recognize ongoing challenges such as financial pressures, economic uncertainty, and the need to balance work with family responsibilities. At the same time, I see tremendous opportunities for women to advance their careers, build credibility, and leverage personal branding to open new professional doors.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are gratitude, perseverance, family, authenticity, and inner strength. I place great importance on recognizing personal victories, honoring the journey I have survived, and taking pride in my accomplishments despite challenges.
I am deeply passionate about my children and family, and I find fulfillment in sharing my life story to inspire others who may be facing difficult circumstances. Personal growth and self-recognition are also central to who I am, and I value opportunities that allow me to reflect on and celebrate progress along the way.
