Sarah Williams is the Director of Education at Premier Prep Online Academy, where she spearheads innovation in virtual learning and leads initiatives to enhance curriculum and student outcomes. With a career in education that began in 2006, Sarah has held a variety of roles including elementary teacher, curriculum specialist, literacy coach, and mentor teacher. Her commitment to fostering student growth and teacher development has been a consistent hallmark of her professional journey.
Over the years, Sarah has expanded her expertise to gifted education, teaching at Knox Gifted Academy, and higher education, instructing undergraduate courses at Northern Arizona University. In 2017, she transitioned into online education, taking on leadership roles such as principal, where she drove 85% school growth and achieved a 95% graduation rate. Her ability to combine educational best practices with innovative technology has positioned her as a forward-thinking leader in the Arizona online education landscape.
Sarah holds two Master’s degrees in Education—one in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University and another in Educational Leadership and Administration from Grand Canyon University. She is dedicated to advancing blended learning, supporting teacher excellence, and ensuring student success. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sarah is passionate about modernizing education, cultivating digital literacy, and preparing students to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

I attribute much of my success to the guidance and support of my parents, whose values and encouragement have shaped the person I am today.

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to recognize that students have immense value. Prioritizing their growth, needs, and perspectives not only enhances their success but also shapes my own professional impact and purpose.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering my industry to be clear in their communication, confident in their abilities, and consistent in their efforts. These qualities help build credibility, foster trust, and create a strong foundation for long-term success.

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are treating others with respect, practicing kindness, and upholding honesty, integrity, and accountability. These principles guide my decisions, interactions, and the way I strive to make a positive impact every day.
