Sarah Winkelman

Sarah Winkelman is a mother first and foremost. She is also a chef and culinary consultant who is ServSafe certified. She graduated high school and completed trade school at Oakland Technical Center in Novi, Michigan. Earlier in her career, she worked as a help desk technician installing hardware. She has cooked at the Royal Park Hotel, the Townsend Hotel, the Foundation Hotel, and Free Cats Cafe. She has been a blogger since 2004, beginning as a mommy blogger, and continues to post recipes and informational content online. Winkelman volunteers with the PTA in the art room and library, advocated for electronic report cards and newsletters to reduce paper use, moderates multiple online communities, fact-checks information, and has beta tested AI systems. She is dedicated to ecology conservation, working to restore the firefly population in her area, and values clean energy and technology responsibility.
