About Sarah

Sarah Zepeda is a facilities management professional who began her career in the industry in 2022. She works in facilities management, dispatching vendors to businesses across North America ranging from retail chains to luxury brands to handle urgent service requests such as plumbing or electrical issues. Her responsibilities include sourcing reliable vendors, negotiating costs, overseeing job completion, and ensuring managers are satisfied with the outcomes. Prior to her current role, she spent nearly four years at Branded Group, advancing through multiple promotions before seeking new opportunities for growth. She holds a high school diploma and completed some college classes at Texas A&M University Kingsville without earning a degree. Sarah attributes her success to being ambitious and competitive, never giving up, values that stem from advice from her late father to keep pushing and recognize her own potential.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Sarah

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say just because I'm a very ambitious and competitive person. I feel like I don't give up.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

My dad, he's no longer with us, but he would always tell me, never give up, never take no for an answer, you know, keep pushing. You know your potential. Don't let anybody set your personal limits.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would just tell them that to handle every situation the way you would want it to be handled. Keep the empathy and sympathize with the client so that you take on their urgency with them.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Opportunities are all over the place, opportunities to work with different people and to ensure that their businesses can run like normal without issues. Challenges are trusting vendors and trusting different people to handle the situation exactly how you would want it to be handled.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Just to be a good person, to treat people the way I would like to be treated. No one is inferior. Everybody is equal.
