SarahJoy Ifere

Sarah Ifere serves as a Graduate Admissions Counselor and Support Specialist at New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire, where she also works as a graduate assistant in the management division and the Advancement Office. She assists graduate students with applications, university questions, and advising throughout the admissions process. Ifere is pursuing a master's degree in data science and analytics at the college, building on her undergraduate degree in biotechnology and diploma in medical sciences. She has earned certificates in bioinformatics and aims to focus on personalized or precision medicine, particularly addressing genetic diseases in her home country of Nigeria. Ifere entered her field in 2018 when she began medical school and has since developed a passion for innovation in the biology space. She previously founded an entrepreneurship and internship program as president of her university's entrepreneurship club to support students exploring extracurricular interests. Ifere volunteers with the Nigerian National Girls Guides Association, empowering young girls through education and skills training.
