01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to resilience, relationship building and a willingness to keep learning. As a working mom of four and a sales professional, I've had to learn how to balance competing priorities, embrace challenges, and continue moving forward even when things are not perfect.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received was don't wait until you're 100% ready to take the next opportunity. Many women feel they need to meet every qualification before raising their hand, but growth happens outside of your comfort zone.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Believe in the value that you bring to the table and don't underestimate the power of your own voice. Sales and account management are about relationships, problem solving and trust - skills many women already excel at. Seek out mentors, build a professional network, advocate for yourself, and don't be afraid to step into a room where you might be the only woman present. Do not be afraid to ask your leadership team on how you can improve.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges right now is navigating change as customer expectations, technology, and market dynamics evolve rapidly, requiring professionals to be more agile. This is also the greatest opportunity for those who can build authentic relationships while leveraging technology and data to better serve customers.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, authenticity and family are the core of everything I do. I believe in doing what I say I'm going to do, treating people with respect, and building relationships based on trust. My family keeps me grounded and reminds me why I work hard.
Professionally, I want to create value and help others succeed. I’ve had an encouraging leadership team throughout my career. They encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone. and have trusted me with opportunities to grow. That kind of support has given me the confidence to take on new challenges and to continue to learn. I’m grateful to work in an environment that is not just about just driving results - it’s about developing people.
