About Sargam
Sargam is an accomplished technology professional with a background spanning software development, quality assurance, business analysis, and product management. Based in Somerset, New Jersey, she currently serves as an Architect at TCG Digital Solutions, where she contributes to the development of AI-driven platforms and enterprise technology solutions. She began her career with the organization in 2018 as a software developer and quality test engineer, building expertise in software testing, automation, requirements analysis, and business processes before progressing into project and product leadership. With extensive experience across travel & hospitality, pharmatech and oil & gas industries, Sargam has developed a strong ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technology solutions. As a product management professional, she focuses on market research, client engagement, gathering feedback, identifying emerging AI trends, and helping shape platform features that deliver meaningful business value. Her experience includes leading Agile ceremonies, conducting gap and impact analyses, developing business and functional requirements, and creating process models, wireframes, and mockups. Her career reflects a continuous commitment to learning and adapting as technology and business needs evolve. Sargam holds a bachelor's degree in computer science engineering from B.P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology and an MBA in Business Analytics from Symbiosis International University. She also holds a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification and has embraced Agile methodologies throughout her career. Beyond her professional responsibilities, Sargam supports community initiatives through volunteer work with SAFE, a nonprofit focused on children's food and education. She is passionate about continuous growth, meaningful client relationships, and leveraging technology—particularly AI—to solve real-world business challenges while maintaining values of collaboration, recognition of others' contributions, and personal accountability.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to continuously learning and taking on new challenges every few years, which has kept me motivated and driven to grow. Early in my career, I gained valuable exposure and experience in a supportive work environment, which provided a strong foundation for my continued development.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I received from my dad is that no job is too big or too small, and I should never consider myself above any task. I believe in giving my best in everything I do, making a meaningful impact, and leaving work behind that is remembered even in my absence.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering my industry is to simply go for it. The beginning may feel challenging or overwhelming, but stay committed, learn from everyone around you, connect with as many people as possible, and take the initiative to learn independently. Trust the process, stay persistent, and keep moving forward.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest opportunity is to leverage all the recent advancements that the AI revolution brings; and the biggest challenge is to not get entangled in it. While AI helps you a lot in simplifying your day-to-day activities, it is critical to not let AI replace your cognitive abilities that you bring to the table.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are treating others with respect, giving credit where it is deserved, and making sure my own voice is heard. I also believe strongly in the principle of karma and the energy we put into the world, knowing that our actions have consequences.
