Sari Anderson

From a decade as an office administrator to becoming a licensed insurance agent, Sari Anderson has built a career defined by adaptability, leadership, and service. After four successful years with Amazon, she is now transitioning into her new role as a Store Manager with Waffle House, where she will bring her expertise in operations and team development to drive business success.

Her leadership extends to the community as well—together with her husband, she is launching The Mercy Mission, a nonprofit dedicated to building tiny home communities for the homeless and connecting residents with critical resources and employment opportunities.

Sari’s commitment to creating meaningful impact is evident in her proudest professional accomplishment: implementing a profitable recycling initiative for Oklahoma City in 2023.

She is an alumna of Arkansas State University–Newport and the University of Central Arkansas, where she built the educational foundation that continues to guide her professional journey.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to aspiring young women is simple yet powerful: always strive for the high standards. Don’t let challenges or doubt lower your expectations of yourself. Excellence has a way of making room for you.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

In my free time, I love going skating with my children on Monday nights. It’s a tradition that keeps me grounded and joyful. I also truly enjoy my work as a videographer for the Air Force, where I was honored to be promoted to Second Lieutenant. Both family and service are core to who I am.
