About Saroj
Saroj Gambhir is an experienced immigration counselor with more than 25 years in the legal field. She began her career in 1995 and worked for two or three years in a private company before joining Catholic Charities Community Services in 2001, where she continues to provide immigration counseling and legal assistance to foreign nationals seeking legal status and citizenship. In addition to case work, she answers calls on the New Americans Immigration Hotline, offering information and assessments to connect callers with nonprofit resources. Saroj holds a bachelor degree from India and earned certification as a DOJ Accredited Representative, allowing her to represent clients before immigration authorities. Her notable achievements include having client stories published in the New York Times and securing fee waivers for the vast majority of her clients who could not otherwise afford private legal services.
