Sasha Rodriguez

My journey into recruitment began 11 years ago from an unexpected place. I was managing nutrition services in a hospital, but with two little ones under the age of two, I needed a change for better work-life balance. Interestingly, I was already doing a lot of recruiting even as an operations manager in those hospital kitchens, so it was a natural segue. I went back to school for my HR bachelor's degree and left that organization to find a really great mentor in the hospitality world with the Columbus Hospitality group, where I worked for several years. I've been able to move into various HR operations positions across different industries, but recruitment has always been my area of expertise, so I've consistently landed in recruiting roles. Today, I work for Ohio Health, a very large healthcare system here in central Ohio, where I serve as a senior consultant. I particularly focus on corporate support roles such as IT, marketing, finance, and a variety of other positions, and I also support entry-level corporate roles. I recently completed my Master's in Human Resource and Healthcare from Capella University this February, continuing my commitment to professional growth in this field I love.
