About Saswati
Saswati Sadhya is a senior program manager in a manufacturing company. She started her career in 2004 as an information technology engineer specializing in data science and data warehousing, initially working in India before moving to roles in the US across pharmaceutical, banking, finance, and manufacturing sectors. Over time, she shifted her focus from technology and coding to program and project management, earning certifications including PMP, PSM (Scrum Master), and ITIL. She also completed an Executive MBA from the University of Toronto. In her current role, she manages cross-functional global teams on product launches and operations, overseeing risks, prioritization, and timelines across departments such as manufacturing, product engineering, design engineering, HR, and sourcing.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Learn the technology AI because with AI you don't have to code but there are a lot of functionalities which is very easy to use which you like anyone can use to set up their own shops like the online shop how to do that. Internet business e-businesses and all. Things are very easy but people don't know how to use that where to use that to set up an online shop like Etsy or somewhere else. Anyone can learn skills like graphics painting online painting there is no age limit there is no talent limit. They need to have the confidence and the willingness to start it up.
