About Saudamini
Saudamini Sehgal serves as Senior Product Manager at ADP, where she builds B2B SaaS digital products in HR and payroll. With 10 years in the field, she previously held roles as a consultant for four and a half years, product owner and senior product owner at CoreLogic (now Quotality) working on real estate analytics products including OneHome.com, and product manager at Formula Monk for two years. She earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Mumbai University and a Master's in Information Systems from the University of Illinois in Chicago. Saudamini recently completed a course in AI products for which she received a certificate after building a product. She volunteers as chapter lead for the Atlanta chapter of the non-profit Women in Product. Saudamini attributes her success to hard work and being feedback-oriented, values she developed through mentors and her partner, and she follows the career advice of not tying herself emotionally to successes or failures to enable rational responses and quick iteration.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to hard work, being feedback-oriented, and learning from mentors and my partner who influenced my values of ownership and seeing things through.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice was not to tie yourself emotionally to your successes so you don't tie yourself emotionally to your failures, allowing rational responses and quick iteration.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Ownership and being feedback-oriented are most important. Taking extreme ownership to see things through to completion, and relentlessly seeking and incorporating feedback in both work and personal relationships.
