Her Story
About Savage
Savage Grant is a resilient and highly driven professional whose career has been shaped by discipline, service, and perseverance. At 17, Savage joined the U.S. Army and completed basic training immediately following the September 11 attacks, an experience that instilled a lifelong mindset of “adapt and overcome” that continues to guide both personal and professional decisions. Throughout life, Savage has maintained a strong reputation for accountability, endurance under pressure, and leading with integrity, most recently demonstrating extraordinary strength while navigating leukemia, from which Savage has been in remission since November. Academically and professionally, Savage built a strong foundation in healthcare and science, earning an Associate’s degree in Nursing from Tri-County Technical College, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Anderson University (SC). Initially pursuing a path toward medical school, Savage instead spent several years working as a Registered Behavior Therapist supporting special needs children, a role that was both meaningful and impactful. Following an accidental introduction into roofing after Hurricane Helene, Savage transitioned into the home exterior industry, quickly advancing through outside sales roles, including a promotion to Outside Sales Manager within four months at a prior company and ultimately progressing into a Territory Sales Manager role within 17–19 months in the field. Savage currently serves as a brand-new promoted Territory Sales Manager for a greenfield branch with Strong House Solutions (also referenced as Strong House Roofing). In this role, Savage works in outside sales, conducting roof and exterior system inspections, guiding homeowners through the full sales process, and overseeing installation quality along with lifetime-warranty relationships. Professionally, Savage is known for a hands-on, integrity-driven approach that prioritizes long-term homeowner trust, strong product knowledge, and team development in the field. Across the industry, Savage has developed a reputation for being highly driven and results-focused while maintaining a deeply supportive, “motherly” leadership style—valuing people as the foundation of success and consistently emphasizing that strong outcomes are only possible through strong teams.
Her Interview
Ten minutes with Savage
01What do you attribute your success to?
Knowing that every single day is a gift has driven me to conquer every opportunity with passion.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to start each day by making my bed. It may seem simple, but I have found that completing that first task immediately builds momentum, discipline, and a sense of order that carries through the rest of the day. It reinforces the importance of starting strong, staying organized, and approaching every responsibility with intention and focus.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
The advice I would give to young women entering my industry is to develop thick skin, stay confident in your knowledge, and always understand your worth. This field can be demanding and at times challenging, but resilience and professionalism go a long way. When you truly know your craft and prepare yourself to the highest standard, it becomes easier to stand firm in your decisions and earn respect. Most importantly, never underestimate your value—carry yourself with confidence, set clear boundaries, and allow your work ethic and expertise to speak for itself.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
An ever changing economy demands that I give my absolute best to every single HomeOwner. I must appreciate and value my entire team because I am useless without them.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is the most important value in both my professional and personal life. I believe integrity is foundational to everything meaningful and lasting, even though it is not always the easiest or most popular path to follow. Upholding it consistently requires discipline, honesty, and accountability, especially in situations where it may be challenged. To me, integrity means doing the right thing even when no one is watching, and allowing that standard to guide my decisions, relationships, and work ethic in every environment I am part of.
