Savana Mars

I am an emerging higher education and community development professional with experience spanning admissions, leadership, and program support. Currently, I serve as Assistant Director of Admissions at Philander Smith University, where I contribute to student recruitment and enrollment initiatives. I have also held roles as a Shift Leader at McAlister’s Deli, Graduate Assistant at The COPE Clinic, and Teacher Assistant at First Baptist Church, developing skills in leadership, people management, and team coordination. Additionally, I gained internship experience with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) supporting HBCU initiatives, further strengthening my abilities in program management and community engagement.
