Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can do anything you set your mind to — set the goals, stay focused, and achieve them. That mindset has guided me throughout my career and continues to motivate me daily.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: you can be successful in any male-dominated field. Confidence, persistence, and skill will always earn respect, and I’m passionate about encouraging women to take up space and lead with strength.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in this field is balancing leadership with mentorship. I work hard to provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships, not only as a manager but also as a mentor to young women entering the trades.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I value hard work, dedication, and perseverance. I got pregnant at a young age, but I refused to let that stop me from pursuing my education and career goals. Going back to school allowed me to build a better life for my two boys and show them that it’s never too late to chase your dreams.
