Ten minutes with Savannah

01What do you attribute your success to?

Definitely my family. With everything that I've gone through medically, they are the people who have been in the hospital with me, who have supported me during the times, whether that's, you know, mentally or financially, they have been there when, no one else really has, you know, so I attribute that a lot to my family, and, I am the first person in my family to go to college, get a degree, you know. get a master's, let alone. So The fact that They were supportive of that and encouraged me to do that is huge, because no one else in my family had ever done that.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I feel like the best career advice that I have been given is to just listen to yourself, to your body. Of course, You have to be assess still think about things and still assess assess risk and things like that. But, you know, things aren't going to just happen for you. You have to make them happen, and don't to waste opportunities. that are given to you, you know? Make connections, and be kind to everyone you meet, because we're all fighting things that we don't talk about.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would just say go for it, you know? Do your research, find where the market is, and just go for it, you know? No one's really gonna make things happen. So you gotta you gotta take risks sometimes, and just enjoy the process. Life is short, so just enjoy Where you're going.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

I have a strong faith, I do believe in God, even if people don't believe in God, I, you know, I don't think they're a bad person or anything like that, but, I am very faith-based, so I value, you know. having a strong faith in family and friends. These are support people, especially your friends. This is the support that you, invite into your life.
