Ten minutes with Serena
01What do you attribute your success to?
I really enjoy being around people and meeting other business owners. My grandmother and parents were real role models. My support system including my husband and kids who are super supportive.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
My father said what goes around comes around. My abuelita said siempre adelante, always look forward. Do not look back.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Being both tech forward on social media but still authentic and in person. After my stroke I started Serena's Snail Mail for handwritten connections.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
I really value connections. I want my clients to know I'm here to support them. Being honest with them even if it means not taking their business right now.
