Her Story

About Serenity

I'm a well-rounded entrepreneur who started as a travel blogger before transitioning into peer support and eventually taking a brave leap into private coaching practice. I've worked with large organizations like Earth Hero and have been featured on ABC 7 News, along with collaborating with companies like Zero Waste Shop and Zion Ponderosa Ranch Resort. While I hit the media hard and still love businesses and helping small businesses, I realized I have more of a passion with people. Between peer support and coaching, I have well over 600 hours of experience and I'm ACC certified with the ICF. I'm also an event organizer, though I take breaks because I forget how much work goes into events. I'm planning to branch into doing more of my own workshops after having done them paired with other companies before, and I'm growing into group coaching because I've had a lot of requests for it. I have a book that's about 90% done. I'm planning transformational backpacking events paired with group coaching, bringing together my love of the outdoors, nature's healing power, coaching, and sustainability advocacy. I'm also expanding my public speaking outreach and getting on more stages.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Serenity

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to three things because I believe in balance. First, being able to help others, including my family. Second, being able to be a good leader and role model for my sister, my nephew, and my family. And third, being able to live a life of flexibility, freedom, joy, happiness, and being able to be the leader in that.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I'll give you three bullet-pointed advice tips. First, persevere and push through always, no matter what. But allow yourself to take breaks when needed because you are human, and it allows for reflection and growth. But persevere and pick it back up and don't give up. The second one, and I know it's cliche, is follow your passion, but what I mean by that is pursue what you absolutely love to do. Have that be your bread and butter, and everything else will fall into place naturally. And the third one is, what makes you unique will attract the people that you want to work with and have be in your inner circle and network with.
