Her Story
About Serenity
My main areas of expertise are property management and real estate — I do both. On a day-to-day basis, I help clients buy and sell homes while also managing multiple properties across different portfolios.
My most notable professional achievement has been successfully managing multiple properties at once and ensuring that operations run efficiently and reach their full potential. Being so young in this industry, I feel that this is a significant accomplishment. I’ve been able to balance the responsibilities of overseeing properties, growing professionally, maintaining my home life, supporting my husband, and creating a healthy work-life balance.
What inspired me to pursue a career in real estate was my desire to become a better version of myself. Believe it or not, I have always struggled with social anxiety. I knew that working in sales and real estate would challenge me to step outside of my comfort zone and overcome my fear of communicating with others. I took property management and real estate as a personal challenge to grow, build confidence, and conquer those fears.
I have learned so much through my own research, hands-on experience, and dedication to continuously improving myself. I did reach out to several people hoping to find mentors, but unfortunately, I was not able to find someone willing to mentor me. However, I want to highlight my husband, who has supported me every step of the way and has been an incredible source of encouragement throughout my journey.

Ten minutes with Serenity
01What do you attribute your success to?
What makes me successful, I would say, is first and foremost my faith in God. Another key factor is my refusal to give up and my willingness to not be afraid of failure.
When I first started out, I failed — I’m not going to lie. I wasn’t where I wanted to be in terms of sales and achieving my goals, but I continued to push forward and persevered through those challenges.
I was never afraid to put myself out there, take risks, and learn from my experiences. I believe my success comes from my faith, perseverance, and determination. Those three things have helped me continue growing and becoming the person I am today.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Number one: Whatever you have been through in your past, don’t let it define you. Use it as motivation to become the best version of yourself and strive every day to grow.
I would also say: don’t give up. You cannot be afraid of failure because you will never truly succeed if you are constantly afraid of failing. Success means more when you understand that failure is part of the process.
You have to fail a few times in order to learn, grow, and eventually succeed. If failure breaks you down or makes you want to quit, it will be harder to reach your goals. You have to develop the mindset that giving up is not an option.
When you have that mentality, keep pushing forward, and stay committed to your goals, success will come.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge I would say is standing out. In a world full of realtors and property management professionals, you have to be the one who grabs attention and sets yourself apart. You have to ask yourself, why should they hire me as their realtor? Why should they choose me as their property manager? There are thousands, even millions, of others in this field, so you have to be the one who stands out.
As for opportunities, there are plenty in this industry. Every day, someone is going to need a place to live, whether renting or buying. That means there are endless opportunities. You just have to be the one who wakes up early, stays consistent, and goes after it with a go-getter mindset. Success won’t just come to you—you have to go get it.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values I would say are most important are integrity - what you do while someone isn't watching you is very important. So integrity, perseverance, determination, and resilience. All of those are important in this line of work and what I do.
