About Serinna
Serinna Lenidrik serves as an HR onboarding trainer at the Pilgrims poultry plant in De Queen, Arkansas. With over four years of experience in the poultry industry, she trains new hires on their job responsibilities and ensures they transition smoothly into their departments without being overwhelmed. Lenidrik also interprets for members of her Marshallese community who may need assistance with English upon arriving at the plant. Before joining Pilgrims, she worked as a community health worker for the non-profit organization Arkansas United, helping community members access health and medical resources as well as support with housing and DHS paperwork. She completed high school and attributes her professional success to hard work. Lenidrik values honesty to oneself and self-love, and she advises young women entering her field to take their time, disregard backlash, and pursue opportunities without hesitation.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The only way down is to go back up.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Take it slow. Don't mind the backlash, there's always that word where they say don't listen to what other people say about you if you're working in HR. If you want it, go for it. It doesn't hurt to try.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Be honest to yourself, and love yourself. Regardless of what situation you're going through, you're always gonna make it.
