About Shadae
Shadae Braswell is a property management and real estate professional who began her career by obtaining a real estate license in 2004 or 2005 to flip houses. She transitioned into property management nearly four years ago, advancing quickly from leasing to assistant manager and now managing multiple properties. Braswell created a non-profit organization focused on helping families and orphans find housing and transition to homeownership, drawing from her personal experience of losing her mother and coming together with siblings to care for one another. She is a member of the Realtor Association and the National Realtor Association.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Stay focused because every day is a different challenge. Smile through it. Every person you meet is gonna have a different problem and you're gonna have a different way to handle it. You have to be a people person.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
My top value is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Family is also very important because after my mom passed away leaving 10 kids as orphans, we came together to take care of each other and stay together. This experience inspired me to create my non-profit to help single families and orphans who might otherwise have nowhere to go.
