About Shae
Shae Jones is a health coach based in Kansas City specializing in wellness coaching. She earned her Health Coaching Certification while providing care for her mother, who has since transitioned, and was able to apply her training to improve her mother's diet and digestion during that time. Jones is a member of KC Gifts, Care.com, and TaskRabbit, and she volunteers her time with the Truth Equity Walk, Women's Health Unplugged, and as a coach for a Kansas City doula organization supporting expecting and post-birth mothers. She attributes her success and drive to her late mother, who first helped her understand the greater potential within herself, and she continues to honor her mother's sacrifices by giving back in ways that embrace her own upbringing as a mother now. Jones advises young women entering the field that they are unstoppable and limitless, urging them to maintain confidence, be transparent, honest, real, and genuine.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My mother started me understanding that there was greater within me. What drives me is still making her proud even though she's not here, and letting her know that all the sacrifices she made for me are not in vain. Now that I'm a mother myself, I'm able to give back in a way that embraces the upbringing that I had.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You are unstoppable. If you believe it, don't allow anyone else to waiver your confidence in yourself. Because we are limitless. There is nothing we can't do. The way the world is shaping, they need us right now. Whatever gift you're walking in, understand that someone is on your path and they're waiting for you. Be transparent. Be honest. Be real. Be genuine.
