Her Interview
Ten minutes with Shana
01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Relationships are very, very, very important. Business is done through relationships and how close of a relationship you may have with a person, a group, an organization or a company. Mentors implanted in my mind how important relationships were, and I saw it in action for myself.
02What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Due to the current administration and what they have deconstructed, it is really challenging to find employment. Even for myself, I'm currently interviewing with a couple of companies but once they saw who I was it became problematic. There's not an overwhelmingly amount of minority representation in my field.
