In her role, Shania oversees financial operations and vendor management for approximately 300 veterinary hospitals nationwide, ensuring accurate accounts payable processes, compliance with financial policies, and streamlined operations to support strategic initiatives. Her work allows practice managers and doctors to focus on patient care while she efficiently manages administrative and financial responsibilities.

Shania combines hands-on professional experience with strong academic credentials. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management & Insurance with a minor in Accounting at the Fox School of Business, Temple University. She also holds an Associate of Science in Business Administration and Management from the Community College of Philadelphia. Her education, paired with prior corporate experience, has provided her with a robust foundation in financial analysis, risk management, and investment strategy.

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to curiosity, persistence, and building strong relationships. My Haitian heritage and connection to Philadelphia have instilled in me a strong work ethic, ambition, and the drive to continually learn and contribute meaningfully to every team I join.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve received is to focus on perfecting my craft while remaining curious and never hesitating to ask questions. This approach has allowed me to grow in my roles and take advantage of opportunities I may not have anticipated.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women to focus on developing their expertise, maintain curiosity, and ask questions. Embrace every opportunity to learn, and don’t be afraid to advocate for yourself while building meaningful professional relationships.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Integrity, curiosity, and collaboration are central to my work and personal life. I value creating meaningful connections, supporting others’ growth, and contributing to environments where people can thrive.
