About Shanise

Shanise Williams is the Supervisor of Juvenile Probation at Hamilton County Juvenile Court. She began her professional career more than ten years ago as a case manager for mental health outpatient services at Tower House, assisting clients with daily tasks such as grocery shopping, medication management, and attending appointments. She later worked with Goodwill to provide housing assistance through HUD programs, helping clients obtain and maintain stable housing. For the past eight years, she has worked with juveniles in the court system at Hamilton County Juvenile Court, supporting them and their families to make better decisions, stay in school, and avoid repeated involvement with the justice system. In June, she advanced to her current supervisory role, ensuring her staff is supported and court hearings are covered. Williams holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Law, Social and Criminal Law. Motivated by a desire to work in criminal law and help people, she particularly enjoys supporting juveniles who are still developing and can benefit from guidance. Her greatest professional accomplishment is seeing former clients reach out to her as adults, viewing her as a supportive figure in their lives. Her long-term goals include making a positive difference in the judicial system by addressing issues such as sentencing practices. Outside of work, she is actively involved in her church as a women's ministry leader, reflecting her commitment to helping others discover their purpose.
