Shaniyah Ellies

Shaniyah Ellies recently graduated from Florida A&M University with a degree in Public Relations, earning magna cum laude distinction. During her time at the university, she interned with the Office of Communications, where she supported branding efforts, managed social media content, wrote articles highlighting faculty awards and student athlete achievements, and selected promotional items to maintain engagement. She joined Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and served as its PR chair, developing a playful yet professional digital campaign using games like Pac-Man and Mario Kart that won an award for digital impact at Boulay. Ellies also contributed to her chapter's second-place finish in the homecoming step show, drawing on her passion for dance and performance to teach and lead her sisters. Through the sorority, she participated in community service initiatives including events at the Kearney Center and Cascades Park in Tallahassee.
