Her Interview
Ten minutes with Shanna
01What do you attribute your success to?
My passion comes from personal family experiences with addiction, including my father's addiction, brothers who were drug dealers turned addicts, and especially my cousin who was an addict found deceased in 2024 after being missing. This gave me greater purpose and motivation in my work helping patients in addiction treatment.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Continue. Just follow your dreams. Go with your passion, because in this industry, you don't make a lot of money, but the money does not fulfill me, it's for the community, and for the patients, and for my team, that gives me my energy to continue to go.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Hardworking, faith, resilience, and humility. You have to humble yourself because you think you may know it all but you don't. Sometimes you have to listen to learn. Faith alone is the biggest value ever.
